Esther Horvath

Esther was born in Hungary and received her Masters in economics from West Hungarian University. She once dreamed of becoming a book illustrator, as she loved the idea of telling stories in a visual way, which led her to the realisation that she could illustrate using a camera. In 2012 she moved to New York and attended the International Centre of Photography to pursue her passion in visual storytelling, graduating in Documentary and Photojournalism.
My Nikon camera is like my baby. I watch it, I take care of it, and as a result the brand has been by my side for 15 years.
If I could pick the one item that is most important to me, it would be my Nikon camera. The new Nikon Z 8 enables me to never miss a shot due to its fast auto-focus. The camera blends into my hand and is so easy to handle, I feel as though this camera really belongs to me. Ever since receiving my first Nikon compact camera at 25 years old, it has been love at first sight. I have tried other camera brands and nothing else compares. I have a strong loyalty to Nikon and cannot ever imagine using anything else.
